These chocolate balls may not be salty but they are suitable for vegans, delivered as always by the wonderfully talented Lu Coghlan.
Ingredients 2 cups almonds (soaked overnight and rinsed)
2 tbsps raw cacao
1/4 cup Monkey Coconut Oil
2tbsps Maple syrup
1 tsp Monkey Maca Powder
1tsp Acai powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 dates finely chopped (whiz in Nutribullet for a split second)
1/4 cup cranberries chopped (whiz in Nutribullet for a split second)
1/2 cup desiccated coconut (for rolling in)
Directions Whiz almonds in Nutrilbullet (or similar) until finely chopped (some big bits, some small). Tip almonds into bowl and add all other ingredients apart from coconut. Mix thoroughly until fully combined. Roll into balls and roll each ball in coconut. Leave in fridge to firm up. Eat.
