Along with a huge amount of antioxidants, Spirulina is a rich source of protein with 18 amino acids in abundance. It has been used by cultures around the world for many centuries as a source of essential nutrients, including an array of minerals and vitamins.

Each serving contains a sizeable dose of vitamin A, B vitamins, C, D and K, plus minerals such as potassium, calcium, chromium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, selenium, sodium and zinc. This green monster is also high in phytopigments such as chlorophyll that significantly aid the absorption of vitamins and minerals whilst optimising blood health.

Crucially, the amount of Gamma-linolenic acid is rarely found in quantities this high in ANY food and normally has to be synthesised by your body from linoleic acid. GLA is a precursor to important biochemicals, such as prostaglandins, leukotrienes and thromboxanes, which serve as chemical mediators for inflammatory and immune reactions. It is awesome!

Take 1/2 tsp and mix with a shake, smoothie, water or juice once or twice a day. Spirulina should ideally be taken 30 minutes before meals. Increase this to a full tsp after one week.
